Aaron believes that counseling is a collaborative process where growth and healing occur. He engages in a fun, practical, and safe therapeutic manner that allows individuals to safely work through life’s challenges. He recognizes the honor and privilege that accompanies walking through someone’s story and works to hold that with the greatest of care.
Aaron Kadavy is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Counseling from Denver Seminary. He utilizes a combination of family systems, rational-emotive behavior therapy, and existential therapy in his therapeutic process. He also enjoys integrating faith into best counseling practices, as this is where true change often occurs. Aaron’s training and experience include individual, couple and group counseling for adolescents and adults who struggle with a variety of concerns including grief, anxiety, relationship problems, and career struggles. Aaron is EMDR trained from an EMDRIA approved facilitator. Aaron is also a Prepare/Enrich Certified Facilitator. Prior to becoming a counselor, Aaron engaged in overseas mission work, participated in numerous ministry training programs and worked as a market researcher in Memphis, TN.
When not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife, Michaela, playing board games, hammocking, watching his favorite sports teams (Go K-State and Packers!), gardening, and making up home improvement projects to complete.
