Jackie Humrich
Jackie is an intern at Selah Counseling Center for 2024-2025.
Jackie believes that we heal best in relationship with others, and she would be honored to enter a therapeutic relationship with you. Jackie is trauma-informed and gentle,and she believes that the client is an active participant in their healing process. Jackie operates from a client-centered approach, integrating aspects of CBT, ACT, and attachment theory into her work, and she offers a Christian worldview for those interested.
Jackie is currently pursuing her master’s of counseling degree at Crown College, where she has studied and practiced counseling in individual and group sessions for a diverse clientele. She looks forward to completing her internship hours as she pursues licensure and for the opportunity to walk alongside you, the client, throughout that process.
In addition to her counseling work, Jackie has previous experience working in college ministry, where she provided compassionate support and guidance to young adults navigating life’s challenges. While not in the office, Jackie can be found enjoying other non-profit work, planning a road trip, going on a long walk, or spending time with friends and family.
